Hackathon-style EO applications competition call for entries

8 February 2018

Individuals, start-ups and small companies from Horizon 2020 countries are invited to join a Hackathon-style competition with innovative IT solutions for land use or land cover applications targeting urban landscape dynamics, agricultural land use or forest and habitat monitoring. Organised by LandSense, a Horizon 2020-supported citizen science initiative, the challenge is to use data streams coming from the LandSense Citizen Observatory, the Sentinel Hub Service or other relevant EO data sources to design novel land use/land cover solutions.

Proposals should be submitted by 30 March, with presentations on 27 April to the LandSense jury, which will select four finalists who will be invited to pitch their ideas at the European Association of Remote Sensing Companies conference in Geneva on 3 June.
